Keith Meyer, the Global Practice Leader of the CEO & Board Practice, has nearly 20 years of global experience developing innovative corporate governance and senior leadership solutions for Fortune 500, mid-cap and not-for-profit organizations, as well as personally leading numerous CEO and board of director searches.
Keith currently serves as the president of the Directors Academy, a national not-for-profit focused on accelerating shareholder value creation through the identification, development and placement of the next generation of diverse directors and board leaders.
Prior to joining Allegis Partners, Keith was the founder and managing partner of Park Avenue Advisors, a board of directors and CEO advisory and recruitment firm. He has worked closely with Fortune 1000 public companies, private equity portfolio investments and early stage ventures to build high-performing boards and top teams. He previously held leadership roles with CTPartners, serving as vice chairman and leading their global CEO & Board Practice, as well as at Heidrick & Struggles, serving first as co-managing partner of the North America CEO Practice and then as vice chairman and head of the firm's Global Board Consulting Practice. Keith also was a partner at Egon Zehnder, where he led the firm's Chicago office and was a member of the U.S. leadership team.
Keith began his consulting career with McKinsey & Company where he advised clients on a broad range of strategic, operational and human capital issues. He has prior management experience at PepsiCo and ExxonMobil.
Keith earned his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. Keith and his wife, Eileen, live in the Chicago area and have three grown sons.
