Nicole Cain, an Associate Director – Research in our Sydney office, has more than 20 years of experience delivering comprehensive and value-add business research and analysis services both locally and internationally to top-tier organisations within professional services, management consulting and executive search. She embraces the dynamic challenges impacting on both established and growing organisations, as they seek to identify, attract and develop senior leaders. Nicole is a strategic and lateral thinker who is quick to join the dots and will go the extra mile to add real value and ensure a positive and professional experience for candidates.
A qualified librarian by background, Nicole spent the first 10 years of her career in business research roles in Australia and the United Kingdom with Ernst & Young, McKinsey & Co., Cap Gemini and Deutsche Bank.
Within executive search, Nicole initially worked with a domestic boutique search business before joining the Financial Services practice of a leading global search firm. She was a research manager for a regional executive search firm with a strong middle-market focus and has previously managed her own freelance executive search research consultancy, working with a variety of clients to address immediate and future talent requirements.
Having spent over a decade in leadership search and assessment, Nicole has gained exposure across a diverse range of sectors. She has demonstrated success in partnering to fulfill senior appointments at board, C-suite and general management levels and across key functional areas including finance, sales, marketing, human resources, operations, technology and digital.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Information Science from Monash University.
