Allegis Partners Places Maria Lovi as Vice President of Talent Culture at Mynd Property Management

NEW YORK (April 1, 2020)Allegis Partners (AP), a global executive search firm, announces the placement of Maria Lovi as Vice President of Talent & Culture at Mynd Property Management, headquartered in Oakland, Calif. The search was conducted by John K. Anderson, Managing Director in San Francisco, and Rebecca Herbster-Chen, Director in Los Angeles.

Mynd serves the small residential real estate sector with a combination of on-the-ground experts and innovative technology, managing approximately 8,000 units in 16 markets. For the past two years, Mynd was named one of the 10 Best Tech Start-ups in Oakland by the Tech Tribune.

Maria has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of strategy, leadership and planning. Reporting directly to co-founder and CEO, Doug Brien, Maria will serve as part of Mynd’s leadership team, working together to develop a long-range talent and culture initiatives by building innovative and scalable systems and processes that attract, onboard, develop and retain world-class talent.

“Maria brings an impressive background in M&A and learning and development and will play a central role on Mynd’s continued growth and expansion,” said John Anderson. “She is an intelligent and collaborative leader whose focus and drive align well with Mynd’s leadership.”

Prior to joining Mynd, Maria was the Head of Global Talent for Business Social Responsibility (BSR), a nonprofit developing sustainable business strategies. She has also held several leadership roles with Nielsen and Kilpatrick Townsend. Maria has a B.A. in Psychology from Sonoma State University.
