New York (November 26, 2018) — Allegis Partners, a global executive search firm, announced today that Heather Wolf has joined the firm full time as a Managing Director in the CEO & Board Practice. Based in New York, Heather began working with the firm on a part-time basis at the beginning of 2018 and has already contributed to a number of highly successful board and CEO searches.
Heather has spent the past 15 years developing and hosting events for the Financial Times in the U.S. and overseas, most notably the FT Outstanding Directors Exchange (ODX), a long-running conference series for corporate board members. She also runs the FT Outstanding Directors awards program, which has recognized boardroom leaders annually since 1998. Additionally, Heather serves on the board of the Directors Academy, a national not-for-profit, where she takes an active role in identifying, developing, and placing highly-credentialed prospective board members from diverse backgrounds, experiences, ethnicities, and genders.
“Heather regularly convenes board chairs, CEOs, and independent directors for the purpose of materially improving governance during this era of intense scrutiny and transformation,” says Keith Meyer, Allegis Partners’ Global CEO & Board Practice Leader. “Her boardroom network and expertise make her an invaluable asset to Allegis Partners as we continue to build a practice that helps companies enhance board composition and performance.”
“I have been privileged to work with hundreds of directors, hearing their stories, and learning from their discussions and deliberations,” says Heather. “It is incredibly exciting to apply what I know about the seminal governance issues of the day to the boardroom needs of our clients.
“We are on an exciting mission to build an elite, high touch search practice that puts diversity first,” says Paul Williams, who will retire from Allegis Partners next year but continue to support the practice in an advisory role. “Heather’s addition to the effort has already paid dividends, positioning our CEO & Board practice for great success in 2019 and beyond.”
