    The people and the culture. I really enjoyed everyone I interviewed with. I also loved the appreciation of family from senior leadership.
  • What is the best part of your job?

    The people I work with. I actually really enjoy coming to the office; the NY office has a great culture.
  • How would you define your career in 5 words or less?

    A really fun journey.
  • Describe one of your successes at Allegis Partners.

    It would be placing the CHRO for Peapack Gladstone Bank. She was a former client and became a friend through the years. It was a tough search and I knew the minute we won the search that she was the perfect candidate.
  • Who has had the biggest influence on your career and why?

    Lynette Ferguson – she was my first boss at Madsen Staffing Services in the late ’90s. I loved how she approached business, how real she is and her relationship with her husband. She defines powerhouse to me…and still does. She is now a dear friend of mine.
  • What is the best career advice you have been given?

    To always be yourself—people buy from people.
  • Knowing what you know now, what career advice would you give your younger self?

    You can be whatever you want to be. Don’t let anyone or anything stop you. Focus and keep going.
  • As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

    I wanted to be a talk show host or a newscaster (like Katie Couric).
  • What is on your bucket list?

    To travel through Italy with my family.
