What attracted you to Allegis Partners?
The team and consistent messaging about the brand and mission.
What is the best part of your job?
The people I work with! There is so much knowledge and expertise in this group, and everyone loves to share and mentor others. It's a great environment for a young up-and-comer like me!
How would you define your career in 5 words or less?
Early, invigorating, challenging, exciting, potential.
Describe one of your successes at Allegis Partners.
Working on a team to put our Allegis Partners mission statement together—it was an awesome experience to work closely with colleagues on such an integral project for our brand. What a payoff when it was done, and everyone loved it!
Who has had the biggest influence on your career and why?
Since I joined MLA/AP, I’ve been surrounded by incredible mentors. Nam Kim, Tiffany Beach, Bill Mooney, Kristy Robinson, Darlene Gaskins, Christa Ford, Brian Lamendola and so many others. They all have believed in me and have contributed to my growing success. I’ve been given so many opportunities to grow and learn and to be challenged. Honestly, MLA/AP as a whole has been the biggest influence on my career because it’s the whole culture and everyone here that contributes to that.
What is the best career advice you have been given?
Be open to critical feedback and always remember that it is so YOU can be the best you can be. It may not always be given in the right spirit, but you can receive it in a positive spirit if you think of it that way. Even if you don’t agree! It’s good to know how others perceive you and how you affect them.
Knowing what you know now, what career advice would you give your younger self?
Work hard, believe in yourself, listen to more experienced players, be patient, be kind and most importantly: every relationship matters, and relationships are how careers are actually created.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A jazz singer (secretly still want this to be my second career).
What is on your bucket list?
I want to travel the world and to paddle the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon one day!
