Andrea Bricca is a Managing Director with Allegis Partners, where she focuses on helping clients recruit the right talent for executive roles in the HR function and the technology sector. She also serves as a Partner with Major, Lindsey & Africa, where she focuses on the recruitment of legal professionals, particularly at the general counsel level. Andrea began her recruiting career in 1998, taking a two-year hiatus in the mid-2000s to serve as owner and operator of market research and business consulting companies in Las Vegas; she returned to the executive search industry in 2007.
In recent years, Andrea has led General Counsel searches for International Game Technology (IGT) and Clear Channel Outdoor, among others. During her career, she has worked with companies ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 100. Andrea has a specialized focus on technology companies in the casino gaming industry and hospitality companies.
Prior to becoming a search consultant, Andrea spent 11 years with AlliedSignal, Inc., where she developed legal and business expertise as Manager of Ethics and Business Conduct in the company’s Los Angeles aerospace division and in Congressional Relations and Marketing at AlliedSignal’s government relations office in Washington, D.C. She also worked extensively with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. She has a deep knowledge of what it takes to build and maintain an effective corporate Ethics and Compliance program.
Andrea earned a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park, and her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Andrea earned certificates from the Josephson Institute of Ethics and the Ethics Officer Association & Center for Business Ethics at Bentley College. While at AlliedSignal, she frequently spoke on ethics in the workplace. She also graduated from AlliedSignal’s HR University during her tenure with the company.
She holds a black belt—not in a martial art but in the Six Sigma Quality Improvement Standard, the methodology and standard used by many companies to improve their business processes. She is an alumnus of Leadership Las Vegas and is active in the local volunteer community, including serving on the executive committee for the local American Heart Association Go Red for Women’s 10th Annual Luncheon.
